day 2
Since we have decided to spend our first few days as non-park days, we forego a wake up call and sleep until our dd2 wakes us with playhouse disney blaring on the tv.. we laze around till about 9 and everyone showers and we head to the IHOP next door.. they have a new stuffed french toast that is out of this world...plus the kids eat free. Also I am treated to the wonderful fresh florida orange juice! I cant get enough of it! ($21.25 incl tip and tax)
We then ask directions and head to the nearest Walmart for pool toys and various sundries.. This walmart is HUGE with a GREAT selection of Disney stuff... I got 2 cute tshirts in a 3x size for about $9 a piece.
Next we head for the hotel pool and relax there for about 3 hours being careful to slather on the spf 45 wich is basically like a sweater in a bottle.. thick like cream cheese.. but effective. The kids are having a great time.. but dd2 keeps asking. "where's my Cinderella"?
After we are all wrinkly from the pool and nicely toasted by the sun we get cleaned up and after much deliberation we head for Kibuki Japanese Steakhouse. I am far more adenturous an eater than my family and have tasted cuisine from all over the world.. but convince DH that he will like the food. Great dinner (look for my food reviews on the resturant board) watching dd8 as the chef teased her and my dd2 fall in love with california rolls was great fun ($52.00)
After dinner a vote taken results in us heading back to the hotel warm heated pool. After a quick dip,We enjoy the free hbo and relax in the room.
