Lands End Summer Clearance

Just visited the Lands End page and they are having their summer clearance sale. Had a lot of stuff that wasn't what I would consider summery--like sweaters, coats and long pants. It may be worth a look.

Alright, I need some advice on anyone who may be familiar with the trends at Lands End, as I am not.

I was looking to buy some water shoes from there, and was THRILLED to see that they had reduced some of them to $14.99. With the free shipping code another poster posted, we are talking a good deal, here.

Unfortunately, the only colors available at the discounted price is bright colors. The blacks and whites are still at the full $39.50.

The free shipping code ends today, I believe. I don't know whether to hold out to see if the more neutral colors drop as well. If that is not likely to happen, I don't want to take the chance of the prices going back up AND missing out on free shipping.

Thoughts?

on their website you will get free ship codes all the time..

My son loves their mocs and they were 1/2 off so I bought them for him for school, two fall type blouses for me for $10 each, and a pair of jeans for $15. Great deals.

Lands End @ Sears (in the stores) has an additional 50% off markdowns.

I got swim suits for 4.99, tees for 3.99 and shorts for 4.99 capris for 8.99 Dresses for 9.99

I was so excited my girls are all set for the beginning of the school year as it is still warm enough to wear plus save them for spring!

They have been issuing new f/s codes as soon as the others expire for the last few weeks. I just got a bunch of fleece stuff for DD from last year's catalog pretty cheap. Definitely look at overstocks!

Unfortunately, last I checked, Sears does not have the water shoes on clearance.

Okay, so now I am not too worried about the free shipping, but I am worried about whether the clearance items could go back up.

Does anyone think the neutrals will ever come down, or do you think they are just one of those things that will not ever be on much of a sale, if any?

OK - first, consider signing up for the Lands End emails --- they've had free shipping pretty much constantly since Christmas last year, and will have some fabulous discounts on other things.

Many times, in my experience, they will clearance off particular colors of an item, and NOT clearance the others. The others may go on sale at some point, but not to clearance prices.

I need to get me some more SunLife shorts - I love those things!!!

Yes. Thanks, but I double, triple, and quadruple checked. Their Lands End water shoes are currently $39.50. I think the cheapest I saw was $24.95. Now, I have not actually checked IN store, because our nearest Sears is an hour away, so we have not been lately, so all I can go by is online.

Yeah, that is kind of what I was thinking. A lot of the time, the popular colors/styles stay full price, even at the end of a season. The neutrals MAY come down, but I am not sure they will be $14.99.



Lands End has a pretty fair return/exchange policy, so I think what I am going to do is buy some that I am content with for now. Then, I will just keep an eye on the inventory going into the fall, and if I get lucky with the neutral colors, I will exchange them.
