Lands' End returns question

Right now Lands' End has a "buy $75 and get $20 discount" deal.

If I have to return an item from my purchase how does that work? Do they give back a percentage? Full amount? Only the amount over $20?

I don't PLAN on returning, but based on my last two orders, I may need to.

I am not sure what Land's End does exactly in this case, but most stores will divide the $20 between all of your items. This way, when you bring in the receipt, the credit amout is already figured out.

BTW-Land's End is one of the only online stores I shop, because their return policy is SO great. I always feel confident that it will be an easy return!

I buy stuff from LE all the time and return it to Sears. When you get your packing slip with the clothes in the mail, the discount will be divided equally between all of your items-so for example-if you buy a pair of pants for $10 and they are 20% off, they will show as $8 on the packing slip. You would get $8 back on your credit card-mine has never taken more than a couple of days.

Thank you all! I think I will go ahead and order both sizes then and return the ones that don't fit. Their sizing can be off for me for some reason.

Make sure you sign up for the Sears rewards, it adds up fast. Last time I went in I had $12 to use.

If you have a Land's End Inlet store where you live, you can return any on-line purchase at the store.

Also the stores will honor all on-line sales in the store as long as you bring it up.

When I shop at the inlet, I always go to the catalog section of the store and look the items I plan to buy online to check the price. If the price is cheaper on line, they will honor it and give you any addtional on-lines sales...
