Land's End Diaper Bag question

For dd #1 I had a diaper bag from Land's End, and now for dd#2 on the way, I ordered a new Do It All Diaper Bag. Does anyone else have this? I love Lands' End quality, but the first thing I noticed when I got it is how heavy it is. It has some kind of metal frame that allows it to open very wide, but it sure seems heavier than my old version (which had to go to the trash unfortunately). Any thoughts? I am just wondering if it will be way too heavy once it is full of baby stuff?

I understand what you are saying. I have had both version and have mixed feelings about the new versions. I LOVE being able to open it wide. It is so easy to find things and you get can a ton of stuff in there. But it is heavy and it also takes up more space. I know travelling through airports, I have a very difficult time getting into the airport stores because there isn't room for it...never mind all the people I whack with it going down the airplane aisle. I guess you have to weigh for yourself if the ease of the wide mouth is worth the difficulty of the large heavy bag. I am not thrilled with this one but haven't found one I like better.

That is the problem - when I look at stores the diaper bags seem so cheaply made, or I guess I could pay $100+ for a high-end one that my dh wouldn't ever carry! So, I think I will try it out for $30 and Land's End quality, and their return policy. Thanks for your input!
