Land's End bathing suits

I love that set, so pretty! What color did you get?

You are lucky, you must have the perfect Land's End body! Wish I did! :)

I wish I had the perfect LE body! But my DH seems to think I do! :rotfl:

I got the pink coral, but it is way more pink than coral. But I have to say, I am very happy with that!

They are WONDERFUL!!!!

Take a look and see what's in Overstocks before you pay full price though!

How funny, I also chose the pink coral for the pieces that I ordered, and it did turn out to be more pink than coral-and I love it! It's a very pretty shade of pink. :)

As much as I love Lands' End, I just went online to Kohls and ordered one from there: http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/wom.../Croft++Barrow+Mandarin+Surplice+Swimsuit.jsp

It's the same brand and style as the one I got last year (though different colors), so I'm not concerned about the fit (besides, it can be returned if somehow it doesn't fit.) And with their Super Saturday sale, it cost only $58-- hard to beat for a well made suit :)

I had a couple of LE suits that I loved a few years ago. (haven't needed a suit in a while). I think you need to measure yourself with a measuring tape using their sizing sheet and order based on the measurements, rather than your "usual" size in jeans or dresses....

There isn't a lot of industry standard in those size numbers!

I have put my measurements into the online "model", and since I did that everything I order is true to my size. I buy the size they suggest for my precise measurements. It might save someone alot of trouble sending things back if you try the model! You can also see if something barely fits or is a good fit because they show you a range...and by the way, I love my LE suits!

Definitely longlasting, comfortable, and very high quality. Well worth it, to me!

I love them!

Just an fyi... the Aqua Terra line from summer 09 (in overstocks) runs VERY small, it is more of an athletic cut. I had bought the rash guard with a matching skirt and tank for Cancun, and I ended up going into plus sizes to get them roomy and the skirt long enough. The other lines I have found run true to size.

Second- anything with the "faille" material takes forever to dry! Very flattering when on but frustrating and heavy when wet!

Yes - I believe they are true to size. Lands End is the only brand I'll buy. I get one a year and the one from 7 year's ago looks as good as the day I bought it. They are unbelievable in quality.

Love LE suits. I have two of them. I generally wear a 10 or a 12 in pants and an 8 or a 10 in tops. My suits are both 12's. The tops are a bit big, but I don't like when they ride up on my behind (I have tankini's....I hate one piece suits!!)

I also have an L.L.Bean suit and that one is just as nice, just as well made, and fits just as well. I have a 12 in that one too, but it does run a little on the large side. I probably could have gotten away with a 10.

LOVE THEM!!! The run true to size, they cover all the strategic places, don't ride up and look fantastic.

I have a lot of tankini's from Land's End - none of which expose my middriff! Even pre-kids I wasn't comfortable with my stomach showing, so Land's End suits work great. I would definitely suggest trying them out - I actually find them to be a little more "forgiving" than one piece suits.

I agree. They are really nice suits! I have a two piece and none of my stomach shows...much nicer fit and more forgiving than a one piece. I found the bottoms to run true to size but the tops are HUGE. The style I got has a pretty long fit to begin and my true size was huge. The next size down is still a bit big, but I was afraid to go down one more size (though it probably would have fit). We were leaving on vacation the next week and I didn't want to exchange it again and risk it not coming in time.
