Landry's priority seating with dining plan

I have the landry's membership card and understand that I can use it to get priority seating at T-Rex. Does this still work, though, if I am paying with the dining plan? I wouldn't be using any rewards from the landry's card. It would only be used to get me in the restaurant, as I haven't been able to find an adr for the time I want.

I also have the membership and have been to TREX twice. Honestly I don't know what good it did because I already had reservations. We still waited 10-15 min. My understanding is that if you're a walk up and there's a wait, they seat you ahead of whoever else is waiting, but I really don't know. If they're booked solid, I'm not sure it would help. I'd like to know the answer to this as well.

Have you contacted the restaurant directly? They only release a portion of the tables for ADR bookings - the others are held back for direct booking.

I used mine when we were there in July. Seated right away on a very busy night. Best thing i ever got was that card. My son loves both trex and rainforest cafe. We only go to those resturants when we r visiting disney.

I have used the card many times in the middle of the summer when the restaurant is very bus;, now I don`t bother with a reservation, because every time I have used the card I have been seated sooner than those with reservations.

We've used priority seating with the dining plan. It usually cuts our wait time in half.
