I know the rule has changed about being able to use the welcome reward and the birthday reward at the same meal. It can't be done. But I'm wondering if you can eat at Yak and Yeti for lunch to split an entree using the welcome reward and then go straight to RFC to split desserts using the birthday reward. Will this work?

It should as it would two different restaurants and therefore, two different visits

The RFC at AK serves breakfast. I had a reward about to expire and used it there. For two guests, it’s a better value and will cover your entrees.

I can’t think of any reason why that wouldn’t work. Two different transactions at two different seatings...

It should. While we did this locally (Houston area- lots of Landry's restaurants here)...we got our card at Flying Dutchman and used one reward there, and then walked down the Kemah Boardwalk to Bubba Gump and used the other there right afterwards for some drinks.

Thanks for the replies. We have no Landry's within 75 miles of our house, so if my DH gets the card, we will need to use them at WDW. I noticed that RFC serves breakfast. If it works out with our schedule, we will do it for breakfast and Y&Y for lunch. Otherwise, we will try to do lunch at Y&Y and dessert at RFC. I would prefer the previous plan since I'd like to get the fried wontons for dessert at Y&Y!
