Landing at MCO to MK, how much time?

If my plane is scheduled to land at 2:45 PM in Orlando, what is a realistic expectation of when I could be at the MK? This will on Labor Day Monday.

We will use ME and let them take care of the luggage. We're staying at the Beach Club, so we'll have to get the bus from there to MK.

Once we get to the hotel, we'd just do a quick 'bathroom break' and freshen up, but won't linger there too long.

Thanks!

For planning purposes, I would say expect to be at the MK by 5:30 p.m. with the understanding that it probably will be sooner than that. DME can take up to about 90 minutes to get you to the resort; although the average is closer to 70 minutes. How long it takes you to check in at the resort will depend on whether or not you use online check-in and how many people are in line ahead of you. Rooms at the BC can be a long way from the lobby too, so that could come into play as well. Getting the bus to the MK could take 30 minutes or less if one arrives just as you get to the stop and it heads traight to the park, or it could take 45 minutes or more if you've just missed a bus and you stop at another resort or two along the way.

As a result, I wouldn't make any ADRs or specific plans at the park before about 5:30 p.m. (or even 6:00 p.m. for an ADR to allow you to get into and through the park). However, the likelihood is that you will get to the park by 5:00 p.m.

If making reservations or planning to meet with others, I'd probably extend the time out even further. Your plane could be late, etc.

I hate to start a vacation out rushing-rushing-rushing. Don't put added stress on yourself!
