I land at 5 am at MCO, I'll be staying at All Star Movies I already have two nights booked. I was thinking of booking an extra night for the previous night so as soon as I arrive I can go to the room freshen up and relax before heading to MK. If I do do that would I call them and see if they can note the reservation or do I check in online. I booked my 2 nights with agoda, but agoda does not have availability for the additional night but expedia does would i be able to stay in the same room? Thank you!!

If it was me...and that certainly doesn't make this the right answer...I would call Disney directly and see what could be done. They're the only ones who can answer if you might be able to stay in the same room and such questions, for sure. Since you can't go with your original booking site, I'd go straight to Disney, themselves. It can't hurt to ask.

Ehhh...how much do you need the room and for how long? Certainly no guarantees, but with a 5am arrival; you'll probably get to resort around 6/7am...we've arrived that early 3 different times (once movies, once music, and once pop) and we've always had a room by 10ish, so we'd probably chance it. If you're okay with any room (not picky) then that even ups your chances of an early room.

If it were make or break your day for some reason then certainly you can add a night. I would call and make sure reservations are linked together (this should solve getting to stay in same room) and also explain actual checkin won't be until following morning.

You can only add part of the information to make this a continuing reservation. The phone CM can easily make a note that this new (1) night reservation continues to your Agoda reservation if you book directly with Disney. Do you have the Disney reservation number for your Agoda (2) nigh reservation to provide to the phone CM.

If you find an available room on Expedia you can also book there but you really want to make sure both reservations are in the same category if possible. Your real issue is that you can't actually fully link both reservations when part of your (2) reservations are owned by a third-party until you get to the resort.

You also need to stop by the front desk and let the CM know you have (2) reservations in what is called a continuing reservation, and that you want to stay in the same room if possible. Once you get to the resort the Front desk CM can update both reservations and link them since the third-party restriction is gone.

It is a win win situation for both you and the resort. They don't have to do the extra servicing of the first room, and you get to stay in the same room.

Thank you for the info. Both reservations are already showing up on MDE. Once I land I go beg to stay in the same room.

You don't need to beg just ask them if it is possible, and 9 times out of 10 they will make it happen unless they are sold out.

Dave
It's in their best interest to keep people put. That way they don't have to go turn the room over.
