Land & Sea Pkg-can i request specific bldg?

Even though our vacation dates aren't confirmed, we booked our 1st Cruise - Only 343 days to go! Decided on Category #7 Land & Sea, @ Polynesian. Can I request a specific building (I assume standard-Garden View?) or do they assign? If so, any recommendations?

I don't know the answer to your question, but wanted to post our experience.

We have done two Land-and-Sea trips, staying at the Poly both times. On both occasions, we were placed in Tokelou. My guess is that, because so many land-and-sea packages include transfers, they group everyone together for the purpose of luggage collection on your day to the port.

If you end up in Tokelou you will love it. Both times we were in a garden view room facing the quiet pool. On our second trip, we were closer to the lagoon, and could see part of the EWP as it went by, but it was so easy to run out to the beach to watch.

I have heard that any building at the Poly is great, so relax and enjoy! We are going to WDW in October, and decided to stay at the Ft. Wilderness cabins. This is a big change for us and I heard the resort is very fun. However, no matter how much fun I am having, I think we will miss the Poly.

Thanks - since we've only stayed on-site at the lively & noisy Value Resorts (hundreds of cheerleaders, twirlers and sports teams) we look forward to a more relaxing atmosphere. Have good trips.

We also stayed at the POLY last June as the first part of our Land/Sea. We are doing the same this coming June. I requested (30 days prior) directly to the Polynesian to be placed in the Tokelou bldg. We were in that bldg. and loved it!!!We could see the fireworks off the side of our balcony and we were close to everything. In my opinion it can't hurt to call and make a request. Good Luck
