We haven't really priced any packages or decided on dates yet. But.. I am wondering how the land package can be a good deal. It includes unlimited park admissions from the day you check-in until the end of the day you check-out. It is my understanding that you would leave by noon for the cruise, thus no time for parks???

On our land/sea, we stayed at the Poly, and went to MK for early entry (which in 2001 started at 7:30 am) we hit all the rides in Fantasyland, plus several others, had breakfast at CP and headed over to the ship. Got there in plenty of time to enjoy lunch and get Palo's reservations. the Land/sea worked for us because we arrived the night before, stayed somewhere cheap, then checked in to the poly at 6:30 am getting our park passes. We also went to the water parks and really got the use out of our UMPs. At the time, we didn't have any park tickets in reserve, so we would have had to buy park hoppers anyway.

We are doing the land/sea package. I have priced it many different ways and the land/sea package is a good price. Arrive a day early is a good idea. That is what we are doing. We purchased a 1 day stay at the Poly so, when our land/sea package kicks in we are alreay there. You can't go wrong with whatever you decide!! Remember it is DISNEY!!!

Have a good time!!

We have done the land/sea and it was great for us. We also came down one day early and stayed at POFQ. In the morning (early), we just went down and checked out and back in. We had the whole day at the Magic Kingdom then. On our first night, we had supper with Cinderella at the Grand Floridan which my grandkids loved. And we didn't need to have a park ticket for that. Our children and grandchildren arrived at different times that first day, but everyone made it for our supper. We had a great time.

that's a great idea to reserve one night before the land/sea kicks in.....i was trying to figure out where to stay for that one night, but i think you're right...i'll just book it in the GF like the rest of our stay....why worry about moving around....
and then we'll be able to start the day bright and early at the parks...
in any case, i have to come in at least one day early....we're traveling in from overseas.....i used to just worry about strikes closing down the airports (a common event in europe and points east).....now i have to add to that terrorism alerts causing cancelled flights.....maybe i'll come in 2 days early.....you can never have TOO much time in WDW:D
