Land/Sea Limo Transportation Question

I also posted this on the Transportation Board, but figured since it was related to land/sea I'd get more responses on the cruise board.


I am just starting to call around to get a good price for our land/sea vacation.

So far, I've been quoted $400 for a stretch limo which will take us from MCO to Poly, Poly to Port and Port To MCO.

Is that a good price? We are used to paying between $180 - $190 for r/t for MCO to Resort. I guess the Port part of it is much more expensive?

Anyone know?

we are doing the 4 day/3day land/sea in just about a month. I looked into the same type of transfers you are right now. Did not want to deal with disney transfers to the port. Finally decided on a mid size suv from Budget. Total of 180.00 w/tax. Even if I park at the port its still only 30.00 more. (10.00 a day). I couldn't pass the savings up, plus the convenience of a car while in WDW.

You will love the Beach Club!! While I enjoyed the cruise...I could've spent my whole vacation at the BC. It was beautiful!

As far as transport, when we did Land/sea, we booked a van for the 3 way transfer and with tip it was right around 300.00. This really wasn't any cheaper than DCL transport...but I like being in control! lol

When we did our 5/1/04 trip the 5 of us used 1 company just in a van to go from MCO to POR just because big whoop...20 min or so in a limo wasnt worth it. It cost us 50 bucks and we didn't tip well because the driver was very unhelpful! We then got a white stretch limo from POR to the port and back to MCO for $250.00 r/t plus tip! We used Southern Elegance http://www.southernelegancelimousines.com/ and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future! The limo was very clean, they were prompt, free soda and water, free grocery stop and on the way back to MCO we got a huge Minnie Mouse to ride along with!! For us this was an AWESOME option and the kids watched movies (dvd's they provided) and dh and I listened to music! It was AMAZING!! I have a few inside pics of the limo on my webshots site and am waiting for my regular pics of the outside and our driver to come back! Feel free to visit and look at them!
