Thanks for continuing with me......Day 3 CC!
Awoke to some strange sounds outside, it was 3am. Stepped out on the verandah and was astonished to see us back at Nassau! Turns out that there was a medical emergency and we turned back during the night. (saw them take a gentleman off the ship on a stretcher)....anyone know how he is doing? We immediatly left Nassau again......this ship is fast when it needs to get going! Could not sleep so I stayed on deck and watched the ocean continue to get rougher and rougher. It was room service for brakfast again, and we watched us pull into CC.(the poor guy on the outer pier got pummeled by the waves trying to tie us up ) The Island was beautiful, with the waves crashing over the outer reef and the water colors WOW!(It was very windy) We had a snorkel excursion, but found out all shore excursions were cancelled due to the winds. We tried to go on the island, but the wind was blowing the sand into our skin! We rented snorkel equipment, but it was so rough and the water was so churned up that we gave up after 20 mins.(still had to pay the $35 though) We went back to the ship and swam with everyone else in the pool. Decided to see an onboard movie, and ate lunch on board ( the thought of a sand blasted barbecue on the island did not sound like fun ) Dressed for the show( golden Mickeys) and dinner ( AP ). The show was wonderful (full of dishey magic! ) But the dinner menu was again very similar( esp. the childs menu ) This was Pirate Night! the theming was fun, and the deck party is not to be missed!!(do not want to give anything away) Went to bed with mixed feelings about CC ( more on that in part 4)
