(7/24/06) As we reported in May, the Living With The Land boat attraction will be updated to a new automated system and will no longer have narrators along with you. The original plan was to try and do this without any downtime, but it seems that was harder than expected, so the attraction will shut down for several weeks starting August 20th through September 17th. It also seems that FastPass will be removed from the attraction at this point in time as well because it wont be needed any longer. Currently Ive been told the ride can run a maximum of 14 boats at a time, but due to staff cuts and just an overall toughness to keep staff working on the attraction, they were usually only able to run a maximum of 10-12 boats in the peak season. Once the rehab is complete, they will be able to run the ride at full capacity and there really wont be a need for FastPass any longer.
