land portion help

If we choose the Poly, what view do we get? How about the AKL? If you get the lower category of room, can you pay for an upgrade, and does anyone know how much $$$?

When we did land/sea package at the Poly we had a view towards the the front of the hotel looking at the Monorail (not a parking lot view but a view of the landscaping and where the monorails bends to head to the Grand Floridian).

This was pack in 1998 so I am not sure where they house the cruise folks lately.

Did you try pricing out the trip separately, not as a package. Doing the land portions as a separate reservation? It may be cheaper and then you could pick exactly what room view you want. You can still pay for the DCL transfers.

Hi! At the AKL lodge you get a savanna view.

We had a savannah view at AKL, but it was not the delux view, so you had to lean over the balcony to see the animals. The room was in a corner. I should have specified the delux view like we had before. You can request just about anything you want. I have found them to be very flexible. Have a wonderful trip.

It actually is cheaper to book the package during the time we are going. I know that's not always the case, we booked separately last time, but also stayed in an inside cabin. This time we get a verandah (yippee)!
