SciFi is doing a marathon of the Saturday morning show. I loved this show as a kid.

I liked this show too-- we watch it every Sat morning. The Sleestacks gave me nightmares though.

I am watching. My 18yodd is watching with me.

I tell them, this is why Star Wars was soooo BIG.:lmao:

It was on last weekend too. I watched some of it with DS13 - I told him this was the coolest show when I was growing up... he just did this :sad2:

That being said - I probably won't go see the movie because I can't stand Will Ferrel.

Thank you soooooo much for posting this! I would have never known!!

I liked the show as well, but I mostly liked Wesley Eure :lovestruc .

Imagine my disappointment when I found out he was gay :sad1:

It was my favorite show as a little kid :goodvibes

Now, the movie....Why didn't they make it the way it was -a dad and his two kids. Now it looks like three unrelated adults, plus Chaka (sp) groping Holly?

I relly enjoyed the marathon on Memorial Day. I don't care if the "special effects" were cheesy! The movie won't come even close, and after the previews I don't know if I want to see it.

I'm TiVo'ing it so my 12 year old can see it.... when was it 1975 or something right around that..... It was my fave too. Way better than "The Valley of the Dinosaurs" which was animated....

OH My goodness! I loved this show too. I had a stuffed monkey that I carried around that I named Chaka when I was little!

I am now excited about seeing the movie either. I am not that fond of Will Ferrell and the jokey, hokey way it seems to be presented.

Thank you! We just put on the Sci-Fi Channel! I used to love this show as a kid! :goodvibes I was a big Lost in Space fan, too. : )

The sleestacks are creepy, but the fire torch seems to keep them at bay. :rotfl2:

:lmao: It's on right now. My younger sister used to insist on watching this every Saturday morning. I used to mock the cheesy special effects even then. It's JUST like I remember.

I remember watching Land of the Lost weekday mornings before school when I was in sixth grade (1984-85). I was initially excited about the movie, but then lost interest when I learned that it stars Will Ferrell.
