"Land of the Lost" marathon...

Well, IMO, Will Farrell has totally ruined the premise, which is typical nowadays. Think back to all of the movies made from our wonderful shows from the 60s 70s and 80s. Beverly Hillbillies, The Flintstones, Starsky & Hutch, Brady Bunch Movies, need I go on? I'm sure that the LOTL movie will have tons of potty humor, jiggling breasts (I mean they changed Holly from a prepubescent girl to a grown woman for Petes sake), and Will mugging for the camera for 80+ minutes. I have no desire to seee it, will wait for HBO. Reminds me of Jim Carey in the Grinch, nothing like the story.

DS3 was absolutely fascinated....he watched it for a good 2 hours and he is still talking about it later this week. I didn't remember it being so cheesy, but it did bring back a lot of memories!

We watched a few of them Monday. DS14 and DD12 kept giving DH and I weird looks when we made them watch the first one with us, but they ending up watching a few more than we actually did.

Yes! I was cracking up. Ah, the memories.

My DD (almost 12) watched an episode and she laughed at the cheesy special effects. And, she wanted to see 'Chaka'.

I also caught a few episodes of "Tales from the Darkside" on the SciFi channel this week. Ha!
