We are planning a trip for fall 2014, likely end of October. My DD will turn 5 Oct 18 and my DS will turn 3 Nov 3 so we are planning to go when he is still free for WDW. Has anyone done a land and sea package with that age? I was thinking 4 days at WDW and a 4 day cruise, but I worry it will be too much for the kids. My other option would be 7 days at WDW. I am changing my mind daily so I wanted some opinions.

We have a daughter who'll be almost three, and we weighed these options as well. We ultimately decided that we'd wait until she's older for the "sea" part as at her age it would limit her and us so much...not able to snorkle with the family, unable to go to the kid's areas on the ship...needing to pay separate if we want to do something w/out her (kids clubs free...toddler room/baby sitting is per fee).

Don't know if this helps you out at all, but thought I'd share our thinking on the matter...btw we have two boys as well, 8 and 11, and we did cruise with them when they were almost 6 and 9. We had a wonderful time and are excited for our next cruise!

Thank you! Makes perfect sense to me. I was wondering about doing a cruise with a little one. I think staying in one place would probably be easier and just as much fun!
