Hey all! Planning the next disney vacation for September 2015. I have never done a cruise. Ever! Not to sure about the whole vacation on water idea, but if I am gunna try one, of course it is going to be disney! What other way to vacation is there?
So far we are a planned grouped of possibly 8. This might change to 10, or drop down to 7 or 6, a lot can happen between now and then.
My thoughts are the four day Bahamas cruise that would leave on a later Sunday in September and then get the bus right to disney and stay for 7 days 8 nights. Preferably at POFQ, and would love free dining, but with all that went down this year, seems as if po riverside might even be out of the idea for my next trip, so maybe back to Caribbean beach...
I know with my last trip when we had 10 folks in our group we had to go through the group planning side of disney reservations, and got a bit of a price break.
Have any of you booked with the number found under the land and sea packages on the dcl website? Any discounts? Any of you disney world it first and then cruise? Since I don't know how much I'll like the cruising I figured ending with my happy place would be the best idea!
Members of group will be my self and the bf, his parents, his aunt/uncle and there two teenagers and then possible bf's sister and her bf.

A few years ago we did WDW-Cruise-WDW. It was our 1st cruise. I think if I had to do only one side it would be after.

Reasons -
The bus from the resort to the cruise terminal gets you there very late so by the time you get only 1-2 hrs before sailing. Although maybe Disney only assigns the low boarding nbrs to veteran cruisers.

At the end of the cruise they kick you off very early. We got to our Disney resort by 10AM. Breakfast is at 6 or 7 am depending on your dinner seating time. We gave the resort our bags can had a good deal of the day left.

After gives you time to come back to Earth after having the best 4 days of your life.

Have fun!
