Land and sea transportation

We were planning on doing a cruise next year but now that free dining bb are being annunced i cant resist doing both. So my problem is when i tried booking the cruise portion online my only option to get to port is magic express but it only lists taking us back to mco not the resort for my land portion. How do i book the transportation from port to resort then resort to mco home?

If your resort is first, get one way ME (yes, it can be booked one way) from airport to resort as part of your resort reservation. The Disney Cruise Line picks up both at the resorts and at MCO, you may have to call them to get that noted or added, it's the same price as the roundtrip airport transfers, and they can transport you from resort to pier and back to MCO after the cruise.

If the cruise is first do this in reverse, and get ME at the end of the trip one way from resort to airport.

The ME will be part of your resort FD reservation. Any transportation to/from the pier with be thru the cruise line. Very easy when you know who to book each leg with! ME is actually just the airport resort service, Disney Cruise Line handles the pier transportation, not ME.

Be cause the Resort to DCL bus schedule isn't to my liking, my preference has been to use DME from WDW to MCO (Free) and only pay for the MCO to DCL bus. Both DME and DCL buses run so much more frequently to and from MCO.

You'll have to schlep your bags from DME to the DCL bus, but you won't see them again until on board.

Don't cut things close if you go from resort to port connecting at the airport. If resort to airport (Magical Express) gets in late and you miss airport to port (Disney Cruise Line transportation) you may have problems.

If you go nonstop from resort to port (DCL trans) DCL will assume responsibility for getting you on the ship.
