WebmasterPete gave me the OK to post this.
Celebrate Lance Armstrong's fifth Tour de France win by supporting the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I'm sure you see many requests for donations, but I hope you'll consider this one seriously.
Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, the Lance Armstrong Foundation (http://www.laf.org/) seeks to promote the optimal physical, psychological, and social recovery and care of cancer survivors. Seeing Lance Armstrong's incredible victory over cancer has been an inspiration to me and many others.
In the U.S. alone, there are more than 9 million cancer survivors, and half of those diagnosed this year will live their normal life span. In 2003 more than 1.2 million new cancer cases are predicted. More than one out of every three Americans will eventually have cancerone in every two men and one in every three women.
Please make an instant and secure online donation at this URL: https://secure.laf.org/Donations/Donate_amount.cfm?sid=200075776 (or if you would rather find someone else to sponsor, start here: https://secure.laf.org/Donations/donate_find_peloton_member.cfm). Your donation will have far-reaching effects for those living with cancer and the future of cancer survivorship.
