Lamplight during OBB

Can I get an ADR at the Lamplight Lounge for a dinner reservation during the OBB? (I have tickets to the OBB).

Lamplight is open if that’s the question. I believe I saw reservations until 6pm. I snagged one at 4:05pm for my party date. It’s really busy during mix in (3-6pm) so it’s more ideal being busy with other stuff during that time, 6-11 you really want to be free for attractions, treat trails, etc.

Are you talking about during the mix in or during the evening event? I think most people feel that there are too many other things they would rather do during OBB than spending time at a restaurant.

Thank you both for the helpful info--good to remember about the busyness of the mix-in and to maximize OBB time.

I made lunch reservations at LL for earlier in the day and did a 5:00 at CC al fresco for us to relax for a light meal in our costumes before heading into the OBB.

We have done LL before OBB a couple of times and it seems like reservations were only available up until the 4:30 range. By the time the party was getting close, the place was practically empty, so I don’t think they were even going to be open during the party. We did the CC al fresco as well, and it was fun to see everyone arriving in their costumes.

Btw - the hours of operation for OBB nights show Dinner from 4pm-5pm.

Last year, I got an 8:15pm ADR for an OBB night. (At the time, I thought they might do a themed World of Color, and that it might be nice to see it from there. I hadn't been to OBB before, and hadn't thought about what I would be missing.) They called me to inform me it was during OBB, and I confirmed I had a ticket.

I ended up cancelling it when I realized what a bad idea it was. They may have realized that it wasn't worth it - especially with the ADR confusion with non-OBB guests.
