Lakeland/Orlando Airport

So I am flying in to Lakeland Orlando Airport in November for our Disney vacation, and I know that it is 45 minutes away, but I am curious if anyone has used the shuttle service from that airport to WDW? I really don't want to pay the rental car prices, so this shuttle seems ok, but just some thoughts would be good. Thanks

Probably too soon to get feedback as this is so new. I too am planing to fly in November. The cost for the shuttle appears to be approx. $200 return for three people.. the group shuttle rate. Not bad, given the savings on the flight. Hoping for more info too

I know the price for transportation to and from Sanford airport to Disney is $200 each way! So renting a car and droping it off at Disney and then renting another car at Disney to go back to the airport has to be cheaper than $400 for shuttle service.

This is what we are doing in January. We are renting a car from Hertz at Lakeland airport and driving to Universal for 2 days then returning the car at a Hertz location in Kissimmee right near Disney. Then we plan to rent another car from the Kissimmee location the day we need to return to Lakeland. I talked to someone at the Disney Hertz location and they have a shuttle (it only runs till 4 PM though) that will take you to your Disney resort when you drop off your car. Then you call the day ahead and they will schedule a time to pick you up from your resort and bring you to the Hertz rental location. I think it will work out pretty good for us. If it's after 4 when you return the car they suggested calling a cab. I did mapquest and it's only 2 1/2 miles from AKV, where we will be staying. Also I used a discount code that I had gotten from mousesavers.com.
