Lake Fishing from the FW Campgrounds?

I take my 5th Wheel often to the FW Campgrounds, and the other day, I went out and bought some lightweight fishing gear for my upcoming trip to the campgrounds. My question is, when I ride my bike from my RV Site, down to the lake, where they rent the boats, have the chairs and umbrellas, and from that point of reference, where can I walk to and fish from the bank? I know that I can't fish from the dock or where people swim, so where exactly do I walk to so I can cast from the bank and fish?

You can walk left, toward the Wilderness lodge, or you can go to the right, which will take you to the canal at loop 300.
I have fished both directions from the marina and have done fairly well both directions. The key to is to get out beyond the green growth along the shores edge.
The problem is, having to get out beyond all the green growth along the shores edge.
I don't mind doing a little wading (if it's not winter) to get thru the weeds,,or ya might wanna try "weedless top water" hooks/lures.
