Lake fishing at Wilderness Campground?

Many years ago when i was a kid, I used to fish with my dad about a 10 minute walk from the settlement dock, go to the dock, turn right, walk a "nature trail" about 10 minutes over the canal, past an older cabin, and you were on a quiet area of bay lake. Last time we were there I looked back that way but it all looked overgrown. Does it still exist?

The actual swamp trail is grown over. You can still fish around the little cabin. There is a lot of grass in the water though.
