Do you think will look better with suits and more formal busines attire? DH likes one better and I like the other!

Shoe #1:

Personally I like the first one. I know the pointed toe is fashionable, but it always seems to aggressive to me.

Shoe 2 is probably a bit more formal, but really I would go with whichever is more comfortable.

They are both very pretty. I like shoe #1 because of the toe portion. I don't care for the pointy toes on shoe #2.

I think they are really six of one and half a dozen of the other. The heel might be a tad too high on both for some more conservative companies though.

I think either one works and so I also would pick the one that is more comfortable. It seems like alternating years that the pointy toe and round toe are in style.

How high are those heels though!?! I couldn't wear them everyday as my main shoe.

I'm going to say neither. Much too high of a heel for my taste.

They are both equally comfortable. The heels on both are in excess of 3"--I just can't wear flats and at 5' 2", I need all the extra inches I can get. I have some boots with 4" heels on them so these will be a nice break! ;)

Thanks for your input. I prefer the round toe but DH thinks it makes the front of the shoe look little-girlish, (like a mary jane toe), which doesn't go with the heel in the back.

That was my first thought too. I love the second pair.

I LOVE the first shoe!!!!!!! I would love to wear that...though I'd probably break my neck in the process. :)

I've gotta vote #2. If it is comfortable, it is definitely a winner. The pointier toe is more "grown up" looking.

I do think they are both a little too high for formal business wear. Guess it depends on how much standing or walking your job requires, but a very high heel is more of a "sexy" look & would not be appropriate for some business environments.

That said, my dd is 5'2" also - so I understand trying to go for the extra height. For a shorter person, the pointed toe elongates the leg. I think the rounded toe is a bit girlish, but is very "in" right now.

Both cute!

I am just like you ... 5'2" and need all the extra height I can get! I wear 3 or 4 inch heels on a daily basis. I prefer the pointy toe b/c they can never be too pointy imo! My students :woohoo: fear my pointy toe shoes (I don't know why), but I love 'em!

I agree w/your DH. My 16 yo niece would wear the first pair ... and you def. don't want to look like a 16 yo! Go w/the pointy ... far more sophisticated and "grown up".

I definitely don't want to look too little-girl. Although I am 34 (and I think I look it) there is something about the freckles and the shortness that I think work against me sometimes.
What do you teach? I bet you are a fun teacher!
