Ladies, when you go to WDW or Universal...

do you actually wear makeup in the summer-time heat? I wear mascara and that is it. I've seen ladies with full face paint on though and I don't get it. Mine would run right off!

I don't wear that much make up to begin with.. just a tinted moisturizer and mascara (waterproof). Couldn't see wearing a full face in such heat. I'd melt! LOL

Nope, just wear a waterproof mascara. Maybe some ladies wear makeup because of the SPF?

I never wear makeup. Period. I could not imagine doing so in the 80-90 degree heat though, even if I did so if I did, I wouldn't.

Reminds me of the time I went to WDW a few years back with a friend of mine. She would fix her face for about an hour before going to the parks. I got into the habit of taking the kids down to breakfast while she performed her magic.... one time I called up to her after an hour and she said "I'm about to work on my eyes...."

waterproof mascara
cheek stain (very sheer - applies easily and blends right in with your finger so you have no powder left behind) I'll even run this over my eyelids for a little color
lip gloss (i'm addicted)'

(basically the same thing for my "work look" as well...but I use eyeshadow applied wet as eyeliner for a little color around my eyes...stays long and doesn't 'melt' off. I'll also throw powder on so I don't look TOO greasey at work. heheh)

I wear make up if I am going to a party or meeting up with DH's people at work..but I dont put it on regularly. Never at Disney..unless again, we are going to a nicer restuarant.

Nope, don't even pack it. I'm lucky if I take the time to blow dry my hair in the morning!!! I do put on a moisturizer that has spf 15 in it tho.

This one is my favorite, however it's $26 at Sephora. BUT - it will last me FOREVER! (I've already had it for a year, and I've only "pushed" it up once!) I have it in "Flush"

there is also a mini-set for $30, you get flush, tickeled, and a gold shimmery one (not a bad value for the 3)

I also have something called "Aquatint" made by Sephora (might be discontinued though)...it looks like nailpolish..I just 'paint on' my "warrior" stripes and blend in...Benefit makes one too called High beam I think.

Stila makes a good one too (but expensive), called push up color available at Sephora.

If you have a Target near you - Sonia Kushak makes some nice cheek sheers for $8. Don't be scared off from the color in the tube...they come out MUCH sheerer.

I spend WAY too much of my time researching/buying makeup.

I suggest checking out www.makeupalley.com TONS of product reviews and such...so you can really see what others think of a product before you buy it!

No way! I'm like goofy4tink, I don't even pack makeup to take to WDW or any other "fun in the sun" vacation spot! I don't pack curlers or a curling iron either, just tons of scrunchies and elastic bands!

I shower, put on some deoderant, some powder, my clothes, my Tivas, tie up my hair, throw on some sunglasses, some suntan lotion, my little waist belt thing and I am out of there into the parks!

I always wear foundation and lip conditioner when I go out anywhere so yes I do wear that when I go to the parks in the morning. When we go back at night Ill wear the same, unless we are going out to a sit down dinner. Then I tend to wear blush, eye shadow and liner in addition to whats mentioned above. I also usualy wear my nicer clothes for the night time dinners.

I wear mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss and sunscreen. I couldn't imagine wearing foundation in the heat and humidity.

YIKES and waste precious park time???? I think not - mascara and eyebrows does it for me and on to the Parks!!!!
