What is your favorite make up while in the park? Whether you wear a little or a lot - please include brands and why you like it. Also, fav deodorant that you think lasts in the long days and heat. Thanks!

I personally like bare minerals makeup in general. They make this eyelid primer stuff that I have barely found anything I can use to remove it. Anyway, it's HOT when we go so I just like their stuff for being lighter weight.

We go during September so I also like women's degree clinical deodorant. Just feel more comfortable in that level of heat with that stuff.

I also like to wear a baseball hat to shade my eyes and keep hair out of my face.

Was thinking of asking the same question. I gave up on makeup when I went at the of June last year. The heat just melted it but this year I'll be there in Feb. I've heard great things about bare minerals in the Florida heat so might give that a go this trip.

I wear Bare Minerals most of the time but I have found that it does not hold up well in the heat at all. At least not on me. On hot or rainy days, I stick to under eye concealer and leave off the foundation.

I use Rimmel BB cream, Physicians Formula Mineral wear bronzing powder (actually is closer to my skin tone, so it's basically like a presses powder, except the powder comes through the brush so powder isn't caked on), Covergirl concealer stick, & Maybelline great lash mascara.
I also wear blush and sometimes I use a liquid eyeliner, but that's really it.

I can't comment on Disney as I haven't been but Montreal summers get hot and humid, I wear Benefit, Tarte, Smashbox, Shiseido, NARS and Urban Decay. I don't have any brands that I use exclusively, I have favorite products... Benefit for eyebrows and mascara, Urban Decay for eye shadows, NARS for blush, Tarte for lip stains etc. These are the ones that seem to stay on my face the best, with a good primer :)

Not sure about makeup, but we went in August when it was 103 degrees. Used Secret Clinical deodorant. Every pore in my body was sweating except my armpits. Worked great!

About to list like the craziest make up regimen ever...but I'm not kidding you, I sweat like crazy and I have oily skin but I can go 7am-2am at Disney and not even have a crease in my eyelids...

Lorac POREfection Mattifying Face Primer
boi~ing benefit Concealer (if any problem areas)
Cover concealer with Make Up For Ever HD Powder
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream (SPF 35 Foundation)
Any bronzer/blush will be able to hold up with the rest of the products
Seal with Smashbox HALO powder
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (on lids and under eyes)
Should be able to use any eyeshadow, I generally use Too Faced/MAC/Urban Decay
Seal with HD Powder
Spray face with Urban Decay De-slick Setting Spray

(I know it sounds like a lot, but it holds up super well, and doesn't look caked on!)

I see a trip to Sephora in my future! I definitely need some of this for my August trip.

Tarte products are my favorite (especially the Amazonian line). Use a primer first to set and then apply. I wear this stuff everyday and I NEVER have a problem with my skin. I wear a lot of sunscreen so I don't use blush/bronzer, but I always have eye makeup on.

I tend to wear less makeup in the parks than I do when I'm heading to work, but I feel better when I have something on. Allows me to feel better about myself and fully enjoy the magic!

Deodorant is all relative to the individual, but I can say with 100% certainty that you do not want to leave home without an anti-chafing bar! No matter who you are, you will sweat and you gotta keep the area under your arms and between your legs comfy or you will not be a happy Mouseketeer.

As a rule, I am a Bare Minerals fan, but I do find that it does not offer high enough SPF to keep me from burning. I may test drive some BB creams or tinted moisturizers with sunscreen before our trip to see if they work better.

I used to swear by the Make Up For Ever HD powder, but now I use Hourglass Ambient lighting powders and I just love them SO much more! I am addicted :)

I will have to check it out, thanks for the tip girl!

I definitely agree about Urban Decay's eye primer. It works wonders and your eye shadow will not budge until you want it to.

I'm a redhead and my eyebrows are barely there so I always enhance them. I usually put the Urban Decay primer on under my eyebrow powder as well and it really holds.

I'm going in August this year and I plan on bringing some Makeup Forerver aqua pieces with me. This line is really great and is VERY waterproof. I don't feel comfortable leaving the house without makeup, so I will be wearing some of this at the water park. I also wore this line of makeup when I did Tough Mudder last year, it help in place perfectly for the whole event.

For my face, I started using BB creams 100% of the time in the summer. The one I found I like best is Skin79. It's not heavy coverage, but it evens my skin out and has a 25-35spf in it. It's also made my skin look the best it ever has. I apply a little Makeup Forever HD finish powder over it and it holds all day. Also, because it oxidizes to match your skin tone, if you got splashed on a ride or it started to rain, you would never get streaks down your face like the ones I experienced using BareMinerals in the past.

I still love BareMinerals, but not in the summer when it's humid. The BB cream just feels like a light moisturizer on my skin.

LOVE all their products. I am a native Southern Girl so HOT and HUMID are the daily forecast around here pretty much mid-May through mid-October. I do the following and typically have a fresh face all day:

Purely Nourishing tinted moisturizer
Neutralizing Primer
Original Foundation
Mineral Veil (the newest version with BB)

New BB cream 5 in 1 on lids (often wear alone or top with a hint of color, Heart is my FAVE)
Liner Shadow (although this will smear off if you tend to rub your eyes much)
Lash Domination Mascara (usually skip in the heat though and only wear at night or for special occasions; I was blessed with good lashes, go ahead & hate :) )

Top it off with Mineral Sunscreen and viola! Good to Go!

A special note about Bare Minerals sunscreen is that since it is also in a powdered mineral form, you can reapply all day long and it would be the same as touching up with powder, no messy lotions/oils/sticks to smear your face when it comes time to reapply. It's also very portable and so easy to toss in your park bag.

I have been out in the sweltering sun all day at the soccer fields sweating like crazy and when I got home that evening, still had a fresh face look! Of course a lot has to do with how much you touch/rub/wipe your face. Cool off by blotting with a dry paper towel then put a cold one on the back of your neck or wrists. Then reapply the powder sunscreen! :D

I am a facial junkie and I had the best facial ever at Trump Tower in Vegas last week. The products were Farmhouse Fresh and they are made in Texas (kind of ironic since I live in TX and never heard of it before I went to NV). My face felt amazing for a full 7 days after the facial. As far as makeup, I like Bobbi Brown BB cream or Laura Mercier Tinited moisturizer. Mac for blush / eyeshadows and (excuse the stupid name) Better than Sex eyeliner and mascara.
