This all reminds me of the talk my Mom had with my sister when she was getting old enough to be annoyed by Flo. She told my sister that she'll have to deal with this nuisance for the next 40-50 years and it's not fun for anyone. When my Mom started talking to the other moms, they had told their daughters that they'd be becoming women soon and that it a beautiful part of life. At least my Mom didn't lie to my sister.

Well I only have boys but if I had a dd I would certainly not tell her its a beautiful thing. Necessary, but not beautiful. Now that we are done having kids this is just a PITA til it finally stops. THen another joy....menopause. I can hardly wait

Ahh yes - one of the many joys of being a woman. I vary my type of gear depending on what month it is. There's no rhyme or reason to what my body does month to month. Some months I'm crampy and in tons of pain, other months I'm feeling fine.
