I am 3 days late from starting my period. I've never really had a set period. A few years back it would be the 2nd week of the month, then last yr it was the 1st week of the month and then at the end of last yr and this yr it started the end of the month. I dont know if maybe Im going back to my old period where it would be the 1st or 2nd week of the month, but its starting to freak me out a little that maybe Im prego? :scared: :scared1: DH and I want to have kids but not right now. Not when we are soooooooo close going on our disney trip finally after trying to go for the past 5 yrs and not to mention, we arent just financially stabble right now. We wanted to wait until after we got all our bills paid off before even thinking about having any kids so we know we have the money to take care of our baby. I havent felt any different - so thats a plus! However I have been eating fruit and taking daily walks which I have just started very recently. I've been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Could the extra excerise or eating fruit screw up my period start date? I have also been under a little stress due to DH job. Hes not going on any deployments. But between planning our trip, and DH getting ready to leave for 7 level school for 3 weeks in TX in May - June and him going up to Michigan in July for a week for training, it just seems like a bunch of stuff is happening all at once and making me a little stressed. So what do you ladies think?

So three days, it could be stress. You also have changed your exercise routine, and you are not regular, all that could contribute to a late period. If it goes a week, then I would take a pregnancy test. For right now, I would try not to stress about it as sometimes the stress of worrying about it, makes it later. LOL

I am speaking from the time when there were no pregnancy tests other than going to the doctor.....but I always knew when I was pregnant. Even when it was less than week, I knew. So the fact that you do not feel any different could be a plus, but then part of me says, the fact that you are putting it here, makes me think you are suspect that you are... Not sure how long it has to be before you take an over the counter pregnancy test, but I would take one for peace of mind when I could.. Good luck..

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I have been stressing over not having it yet :rotfl: I keep telling myself, dont stress, dont stress. What happens, I stress :lmao: I kinda suspect that theres a slight chance maybe I am pregnant. But then I also posted on here to see if anyone could tell me if eating differently and actually excerising could make it late as well. So it was half of suspect and half of a question :rotfl: I just never had it late before. It was always kept getting earlier and earlier. Maybe my body is saying, OK, no more early, time to go back to being at the beginning of the month instead at the end of the month. Now that I think about it, for the past 4 yrs every anniversary DH and I had I had my period. And we got married on August 7th. And yes, would luck have it, I even started my period ON my wedding day. Every brides nightmare! :scared1: So maybe I am just going back to having it at the beginning of the month. I was really hoping it would stay on track and be at the end of the month so I would be period free for our Disney trip this August. Oh well, looks like I wont get that lucky!

I know you're scared to do it, but you should just take a test. I hear that the ones from the dollar stores are pretty sensitive. This way, if it's negative, you can relax a little and maybe it will come.

I used to take my temperature every morning and enter it at www.fertilityfriend.com. After a while you will see a pattern and you'll know when you are ovulating and when your period is going to come, and of course exactly how long your cycle is. It will come in handy when you are ready to start trying for a baby, and it's how I knew that I was pregnant with my daughter. Your temperature usually starts to drop as your period approaches, but I saw that they stayed high instead. It's very cool and a basal thermometer is pretty cheap.

Good luck, and I hope it works out the way you want.

Take a pregnancy test. Or you could just wait a week and see if it comes. Our bodies are pretty fickle. Any change in routine, holidays, stress, illness, diet--any and all of it can cause your cycle to change. Good luck!

No more worries! I started. It was just a little late. Hopefully I can keep it on track so I will still be period free for our disney trip in August. After that, it can come whenever it wants to! ;) :lmao:
