Ladies, how often do you take off your wedding/engagement ring(s)?

I take mine off pretty much the second I walk through the door to my house! I have never wore mine a night since I have had them. I also never wear them while cleaning, doing yardwork, etc., obviously.

I don't take them off very often. Sometimes I do for swimming because I have heard the pool water isn't good for them but I am pretty inconsistent about it. I take them off if I am baking / cooking anything that may need kneading. That's really about it. I've had my engagement ring for nearly 30 years and my wedding ring for nearly 27 years, so at this point the shape of my finger is indented where my rings are.

Same as you, sometimes I even take them off at work and lay them on my desk. I've never been a big jewelry wearer and if something is at all uncomfortable, it comes off. I can't stand tags and seams in clothes either, must be a sensory thing I guess. In this heat we've been having all I've worn the past few weeks is my wedding band and it comes off as soon as I get home.

Our wedding rings are safely tucked away..we'll be married 24 yrs this Nov. we both had physical jobs for awhile so more of a safety issue, when we go out together they're back on

I take mine off all the time due the type of ring I have. The main stone in my engagement ring is 3.5 carat emerald, so I am constantly taking my rings off to wash my hands, clean house, etc.

I take mine off at night to sleep and then put them back on in the morning after my shower. Occasionally I pull them halfway off to dry underneath them but, otherwise, I wear them all day.

I almost never take my wedding ring off, just for making something really goopy or putting lotion on. I generally take my engagement ring off when I get home. One of the prongs has gotten sharp and I am afraid of scratching DD or catching something on it.

I usually only wear my set when we go out. I don't wear them at work due to the nature of my job and I don't wear them at home. My DH is the same - he can't wear his at work and won't at home. Plus, we both play hockey and softball (plus he plays baseball on top of that) so we are usually ringless.

Wait...no...that's not right. I take them, off to shower cause the rock gets caught in my hair when shampooing. Also if I am applying "product" to my hair cause I hate gooping the ring up. Otherwise it's 24/7. Same for DH.

i take mine off when i'm at home (most of the time). i'll sometimes leave it on if i've been out, but i definitely take it off before bed.

i got into the habit because my skin is sensitive to platinum. the prongs on my original engagement ring were platinum and, if i wore my ring at night, my finger would swell up. DH bought me a new, gorgeous ring for out 10th anniversary (and i bought a matching band a few months later). and even though it's white gold and doesn't bother me, i still take it off. it's also a little loose and i'm afraid of losing it.

My fingers are indented as well. I've been wearing them for 22 years except during certain points of my pregnancies.

I wear my wedding/engagement ring and the ruby ring that was my mother's wedding ring. I have never been able to sleep in them so they are always off at night. I usually put them on after my shower and then take them off in the evening around dinner time. I do not wear them to the beach or camping. I do not wear them when cleaning. Once in a while I forget to put them on and leave the house without them but that is rare. I have been happily married 14 years and we get along equally well whether the ring is on my finger or off

I guess I am a minority. Never. I have taken them off twice. Each time I was pregnant, I had to take them off for the last 2 months because of swelling.
