Ladies-How do you wear your hair?

This may be crazy, but do any of you ladies have pics of how you wear your hair at Disney. I have a shoulder length inverted bob(think Victoria Beckham-hairstyle, not body type :lmao:) I have side swiped bangs so I would like some ideas on how to keep the bangs out of my face. I'm thinking about french braiding them out of the way, but I've got to practice up.

I'm no help at all but I wanted to say I've considered this, too. I wear my hair long. I like to leave it down, straightened with side swept bangs but we're going at the end of July and I don't think I'm even going to pack my blow dryer, much less a straightener. Pretty sure that ten minutes into the day it'll be pulled up.

Maybe you could pull the top and sides back with a clip in a loose way and then bobby pin your bangs sort of up and to the side? Or maybe a headband or something. I used to have the same haircut you have and it was always a challenge to deal with it when I wanted to pull it away from my face.

I have kind of the same hairstyle. The french braid works, but I like to switch up my hairstyles so sometimes a headband works or I use bobby pins to pin my bangs back. I haven't been to Disney since I've had my hair done, but when I do go I normally just end up throwing it in a ponytail because of the heat :sad2: LOL Good luck! :thumbsup2

this may or may not be helpful, but i have long hair and just tried the goody spin pin-it's amazing at holding hair up and out of the way and a nice alternative to the pony tails! Just a thought!

Can you use that for your bangs. I'm not so much worried about the back of my hair as I am my bangs. I know the first time I ride SM or RRC, they will be all over the place. :scared1:

My hair is very short, so no worries. But my daughter french braids her bangs, I think it looks real cute :).

I pull my bangs straight back or at an angle with clips or Bobby pins. Works great to keep them out of my face. I sometimes do the little bump with them for shape;).

I have all one lenght long hair. I get up and take a shower and put it in a pony tail when it is wet and that is it. I wear a visor all day also that helps keeps all the stray hair out of my face.

my hair is long as well. I plan to keep a ponytail and visor as mentioned above.

Thank you so much for posting this, I'm going in August and I'm wondering the exact same thing! I have long hair which is naturally curly but usually straightened, and a side swept fringe (bangs!). I don't think I'm going to bother straightening my hair in the humidity, which makes the fringe situation even worse! I'm going to practise pinning it back I think, and maybe attempt a French braid if I'm brave enough!

No bangs or short hair, so I'm probably no help to the OP.

I wear my hair up in a ponytail and then braided, so it doesn't get frizzy or rub on my back/neck. At home I usually wear it in a clip or bun, but I prefer the braid at WDW.

I have short hair so do not have to worry about any hair styles, but my DD has a little bit longer then shoulder length hair so she usually does her hair in a bun so that it stays off her neck. She says she also pins down the pieces of hair that stick out from the bun so it stays up and does not become a ponytail (the reaon she doesn't like ponytails is because it gets on her neck, the bun stays off and feels light):thumbsup2

I've got shoulder length hair also and as much as i would love to scrunch it into curls like i do a lot of the time at Disney i plan to clip it into a bun or in a pony tail the entire time... wash and go easy. i also have extremely thick hair and it is super hot in the summer - we are going Sept. Maybe one night i'll do my hair but it will be up the rest of the week... it may not be stylish but it will be functionable.

During the day I wear my hair in a ponytail. In the evenings, I wear an updo for a more dressing look to my hair. My hair falls about three inches below my shoulders. When I'm on vacation, I hardly ever wear it down. It takes too much time.

all i can say is dont bother with a straightener or anything!

the night before we went last time i straightened my hair (like i do every single day) and the minute we stepped off the plane: POOOF:scared1:

i ended up puuting mousse in it to keep it curly and just left it.

i hate my stupid curly hair!

For our daughter, I'm going to braid her hair or tie it back in pigtails. It looks cute on her and will keep it out of her face.

My hair has just reached past my shoulders, and I was thinking of getting it cut to just above the shoulders, and permed. I had it permed a few months back, and loved just being able to run a wide comb through, let dry on it's own and still have volume. If the sides are touching my face and bugging me, I tie them back.

Then I started seeing hair braids & beading photos! Now I'm thinking of not cutting it, and having my hair done in those tight braids halfway up my head, then the rest braid hanging down loosely or beaded and hanging down loosely!

I second braiding your bangs and then working pieces into a pony tail, messy bun or just twisting and pinning what you can if it is too short. I always wish I had done just a little something when I look back at pictures of just a ponytail but refuse to "do" my hair on vacation!

I pull my bangs back with clips and they do not bother me or blow in my face. Works really well! And for a bit of a lift push your bangs up slightly to give a bump and looks great!

i have curly hair, no actual fringe as the shortest part of my hair is shoulder length as I have layers... always wear a hat at WDW and I just either pin my 'fringe' or pull the sides up and clip it. I don't bother spending much time on my hair. lately at home I've been french braiding the fringe so I may do that next time if I am still into that fad ;)

My hair is straight and ends a little past my shoulders. I usually just wore it in a ponytail, and just a little off to one side.
