I have been to Disney several times before and have always listed lactose intolerance on my ressie. I have even re-confirmed at check-in and with my server. The Chef has never come out to let me know what is safe, or to offer to make me dairy free pancakes or waffles (as I have read about here). Everyone just sends me off to the buffet like it is 100% safe. I usually just stick with fruit and hope the bagels with no butter/cream cheese are safe.
Should I list myself with a dairy allergy? Is that the only way to ensure I won't accidentally ingest dairy? It is not a life threatening allergy that I have, but I get horribly ill if I eat milk. Lactiad pills do nothing to help as I have colitis as well and any dairy just flares up the colitis which makes for lots of discomfort for days and days.
I feel funny saying I have a true dairy allergy but at this point I am tired of risking what I am eating.
