I saw my doc yesterday for some diabetes related stuff and mentioned that I have been having some stomach trouble. I mentioned it seems to coincide with times when my blood sugar is higher, and asked if that could be the culprit or if it was just coincidence. She told me to try going lactose free for two weeks to see if it is a milk allergy.
I'm just now realizing how many food have milk as an ingredient! Does anybody have any suggestions on eating lactose free? Also, is there any soymilk out there that tastes like regular milk? All I saw were the vanilla/chocolate/strawberry varieties.
