We are planning a 2 day Sat/Sun US trip over labor day. Last year we went to Disney and found the lines to be doable, since kids are back in school and its still hurricane season. My sis is a timeshare holder so she is picking up the tab for the hotel, so we won't stay on site:confused3, which means no on-site FOLT passes. VIP tickets are crazy expensive $262.99 for 2 days, but express add-on passes are "only" $25.99 extra 1 day/2 parks. Will we need express passes? With the WWOHP I'm gonna assume it will be busier? Any advice?

As with any holiday weekend, all local parks will be busy and the Harry Potter crowds will make it even busier. If you get there at opening, you should be able to do some of the larger attractions w/o much of a wait. Remember...the VIP tickets include your park admission so you wouldn't have to purchase park tickets in addition to the VIP tickets. I would wait and see how the lines are before purchasing the EP...which are sold throughout both parks.

I'll be there those same two days. Normally Labor Day week is a nice time to go but I'm a little concerned about the crowds too this year. Luckily our passes are 7 day unlimited so we can come back later in the week. But that'll be crazy hectic since we'll be doing Disney too.

Thanks for the replies. I've read that the express passes can sell-out? Ideally we could decide the day we arrive, but would have to have it mobbed and be unable to get the passes. I guess it's like $25.oo insurance for the day. 2 day, 1 park passes are only $109.00 per person, otherwise its $134.99 for 2 day, 2park passes, NOT including the 25.99 for express. Still unsure what to do?
