Labor Day Sunday - Stay away from evening MK EMH???

Hi all,

I am going back and forth about attending the evening EHM at the MK the Sunday of Labor Day. I am worried it will be too crowded as there are also EMH in the AM at MK that day! Right now I have us visiting the MK on the evening of Labor Day to see Spectro and Wishes but could switch to Sunday ... this would leave Monday evening open for MGM EMH. We can hang late but the EMH are not that late ... MK is 10 - 1 and MGM is 8:30 - 11:30.

To EMH or to avoid EMH in the evening Labor Day weekend. That is the question!!

Thats where I'll be too!! See ya there.. Honestly alot of people dont stay that late.. Some people only stay for maybe the first hour but if you can stay up for the whole thing than towards the end you'll find it really nice..

We'll be there that day too but didn't know about the a.m. hours. Where did you find that info?

I had MK scheduled for that day as well to take advantage of the EMH. That will be our last full day because on the 4th we head back home.

hahaha! the exact same here. i'm sad we won't get a MGM PM EMH but oh well

I guess that is what I am worried about! EVERYONE going on Sunday since they are leaving on Monday! LOL!

But it makes me think that Monday EMH hours at MGM will be awesome with all ya'll gone (lol) so I really wanna go to that but I have never seen Spectromagic and that is a must do this time.

I got the AM EMH from the Disney info line. I think it may be one of the "magical beginnings" days.

We will be there to, lol, but we aint leaving on Monday. We are going to try to ride as many rides as we can but if it gets to busy then we will leave.

We are going to Mk on sunday too! We arrive on Saturday afternoon so we won't do MK until Sunday. We plan on staying most of the day or taking a break and going back later. We will see you there, Me,dH , DD6 and DS2. On Monday we might go to Sea world in the morning because DD really wants to go and then maybe MGM at night.

Just a reminder-Labor Day weekend is when they will be hosting the Tom Joyner Family Reunion at WDW. There are events planned at all the parks with, if I am not mistaken, Sunday being "the big day." Just wanted to give the heads up! (According to Disney.com, events run straight through Labor Day Weekend, from the 1st through the 4th, yet the reunion website says events run from August 31st thru Sept. 5th)

I don't know what you mean by "Big Day" but the Tom Joyner website says that the included package is only 2 days of park tickets AND one of those days (Saturday) is the exclusive concert at MGM.

For what it's worth, OP, I am actually park hopping from Epcot to MK for EMH. I doubt many people are hopping - but I think that Sunday night shouldn't be too bad.

Right now I have AK planned for that morning and have kinda left Sunday night open. I figure we will give it a try and if it's too crowded can always change our minds.

In 2001 we headed into MK that same night and turned back around. It was too crowded.

BUT ... I am thinking about just going to the MK for Spectro / Wishes and EMH ... hoping it will clear out alot after Wishes.
