Hello!
Could you please recommend a transportation company? We really don't want to rent a car. We have 7 people in our party and currently have purchased Disney Transfers. But, upon further thought, we will need transportation from LAX to the port and from the port back to LAX... The problem is our return flight to the East Coast isn't until 10:55pm and it has been recommended to me that we find other transportation so that we don't have to stay at LAX because it is not like MCO and will be boring.... I have looked online, but wasn't sure what companies are reliable..... Any help you can give would be appreciated!!! THANKS!! :sunny:

I'd take supershuttle to the port. I'm not sure who to recommend on the way back because you don't want to rent a car & you'd probably need to be transported around for several hours. There are some limo services that will be able to drive you around in a limo, large suv (like a suburban), or large vans. I'd try posting at one of the other cruise sites (cruisecritic, cruisemates, etc) to get some insight from people who regularly cruise out of San Pedro. I'll post back here if I see any info.

For others renting cars:
I've seen many posts on cruisecritic from people who have picked up cars at LAX and dropped them off at Long Beach. You may want to call the San Pedro office directly.

I've used SuperShuttle to get from LAX to the Anaheim resorts a few times with no problems at all. I definitely recommend them.

No to Super Shuttle! They "can" make many other stops with crazy routes and significantly lengthening your travel time from your point A to your point B. Recommendations:

www.karmel.com

(will make only one other stop, can have no other stops)

www.primetimeshuttle.com

(friends have checked this out and are using it, as well as other people on our cruise).

I'd personally go with Karmel.

She has 7 people in her group & they'd probably have their own van with Supershuttle.

We prefer PrimeTime to Super Shuttle for "shuttle" service and Sheba Limo for limosine/towncar service.

I remember that with RCCL, they have a LA city tour excursion. They take your luggage on the bus and drop you to LAX after the excursion. Maybe DCL also offers such kind of excursion?
