La Nouba with my 6 year olds?

We are planning a trip to WDW in late Sept. My twins will be 6 yrs. old then and I was wondering whether La Nouba would be something they would enjoy. I've heard that it's a more child-friendly show than the other Cirque shows, but I'd hate to spend all that money on tickets and have them get restless or not really enjoy it.

My son has watched pieces of Cirque shows on TV (when they are on Bravo, etc) and has enjoyed them. My daughter is sometimes interested, sometimes not. But then again, seeing it on TV is SO different from seeing it live, who knows how they'd react there. My DD could be enthralled and my DS could get restless.

Has anyone else taken kids close to my kids age? If so, what was your experience?

My DH and I LOVE Cirque shows and would love to see this one, but if 6 is too young to really appreciate it, we'll wait for when they are older.

Thanks for your thoughts!

I think 6 is too young to "appreciate" it, but they will certainly be entertained. It could be overwhelming, tho'. Live shows can be intimidating, my DS who saw it when he was 10, STILL talks about it. It made a deep impression. It will really depend on how your kids react to things like this, are they scared, do they like attention, etc?

Six is fine. They will be amazed. Have taken 6 and 5 year olds and they were amazed.

I took my 5yr DS and 7 yr DD last November. They thought the clowns were hilarious and they pointed things out in the show that I hadn't even noticed. They still talk about it. I think if your kids are able to sit through a movie and keep their attention, then they will be fine. There is so much action, the time goes by pretty fast. :cheer2:

We all enjoyed it - it was one of the highlights of our trip.

I agree, however the clowns are extremely funny, especially compared to other Cirque shows. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo
