La Nouba discount question

I understand DVC members receive a 25% discount on Category 2 seats for La Nouba but I have to present my card at the box office to receive this discount. Is there a way to purchase tickets over the phone and receive the discount? I'd like to buy some tickets as a gift but I won't be attending the show.

You have to call MS to get the tickets, so I went through the normal "verification" proceedure before we started. I did "will call" to pick up my tickets and was told to bring my DVC card with me (but I suspect they will not check it). She offered to ship the tickets to me, so I dont see how there is any way to actually check each ticket purchase when you arrive...i.e. you could give the tickets to others in your party that are not the DVC member and I don't THINK it would be a problem. (but then, me thinking can be dangerous )
