La Hacienda platter for 2 and Dining Plan

Dining plan question...La Hacienda de San Angel has a couple entrees that are shared by two: Parillada La Hacienda (steak) and Del Mar (seafood). For a party of 2 using DDP, can these be ordered and covered by the dining plan?

Yes. One shared platter for two is two table service credits.

DH & I ate there last year and loved it. We got the steak platter for 2. We asked to switch out the chorizo with extra chicken which they did. It comes with tortillas and rice and beans. Took 2 credits from the dining plan. It was delicious and is the meal I am most looking forward to on our next trip in September.

That's our opinion too...we've had both and prefer the seafood platter a little more, but they're both delicious. I still like San Angel Inn, but La Hacienda is now our "go to". Now if they'd only take Tables in Wonderland...

I will agree with the other posters and say that we really enjoyed our Del Mar platter! We were on the DxDDP and had 2 appetizers, the platter, and 2 desserts, and boy were we full! The apps we ordered were the chorizo dip and some kind of taco trio (it's been almost 2 years ago). Everything was delish! Last year we ate there during Illuminations, and it was sooo pretty, and my grumpy hubby didn't have to deal with the crowds. I say go for it!
