La Hacienda - Illuminations View

So what's the low down on the Illuminations view from inside the dining room? Do I need to request a window seat? Is there seating for the restaurant out on the patio, or is that only for the counter service? If we are still in the restaurant when Illuminations begins, will we be allowed out on the patio?

From what I have seen:
Request the main dining room and you should have some view. There is a smaller room that has no view of the lagoon at all.

From what I've heard, Rose and Crown no longer allows parties to wait for a window seat. Any idea if La Hacienda will allow a window seat request?

I realize the restaurant just opened and this info may not be readily available, but if anyone is eating there in the upcoming days, the Illuminations view is obviously an important piece to eating here (for some).
