Has anybody tried La Hacienda de San Angel yet?? How is the food, atmosphere, ect? I have a adr for it but I'm not sure whether or not to keep it since I'm on the qsdp and will have to pay extra.

I have read many reviews where people are in love with the place...Disneyfan4ever is in WDW now and she texted me to tell me that the food was incredible and she would pick that over Via Napoli anyday.

Cannot wait to try it for myself

Just ate there on Tuesday evening! LOVED it! We debated b/c we jsut wanted regular tacos, but this was sooo much better. Tacos de camerones (with fried shrimp) was so yummy. DH had the chicken it was also very good. The kids had beef taco meals that came with rice and green beans. Oh and the refried beans were also awesome. And not to forget the chips and salsa. I will eat there again!

So glad for all the good reviews ... can't wait to try it!

Are ADR's necessary (I know they are for most restaurants) ... or can you luck out by walking in?

Thanks!

It would probably depend on what time of the year you are going... It might be best just to make adrs to be safe if you really want to go

Add me to the list of huge fans. Not only was the food really tasty, but service was excellent.

The "theme" of the food is the style of southern Mexico, which is slightly different from what we may usually think of when we think of Mexican food - including the San Angel in next door.

By the way - the opening of La Hacienda seems to have inspired the Inn to up their game. I ate at both places last week, and my meal at the Inn was the best I have ever had there.

I should warn you, though, that La Hacienda is going to be a bit pricey. That doesn't bother me, but for folks on a budget, it may matter.

Had not heard about this restaurant until 2 weeks ago and there have be no ADRs for Oct. 6th-10th. I check every day. So frustrating:headache:... Hopefully we can do a walk up. :goodvibes

During the Food and Wine Festival, I purposely don't eat anywhere in Epcot except at the food booths. I will save the Hacienda for another trip.

That's great news. I really wanted to try the food at the Mexico pavilion, but didn't want to risk a dinner ADR due to the negative reviews, so we have a lunch ADR at the San Angel Inn this December. (We have an evening ADR at Le Cellier that night.)

I'm planning on going to the Hacienda de San Angel for our next visit in August 2011.

It's walk-ups only until the weekend of Oct 15. That's the first weekend that ADRs are available.
