Is this doable? We are staying in Anaheim, across from Disney. We are hoping to fit LA in at some point. Could be the day we leave as we don't fly out until 7PM. Is there somewhere to keep our luggage though as we will be inbetween hotel and airport. Should we be cabbing it? I was hoping to make it to High Voltage tattoo (yup i'm one of those LOL)

High Voltage (on the corner of La Brea and Fountain) is a good 35 miles from Anaheim. Round trip could easily be 2 1/2 to 3 hours. You don't mention where you are flying out of. I can't speak to where to leave your luggage but I do know that most hotels will story your stuff with the bellmen for a fee. A taxi there and back is doable - and very expensive.

Sorry we are staying in Anaheim, but if we poke around LA/Hollywood the day we fly out of LA we are trying to decide what to do with our luggage wether we check it early at the airport then go back into Hollywood, or if there is a holding place in some other area.

You could do a one way car rental from DTD to LAX, and keep your luggage in the car. Or hire a limo or towncar to drive you, so you could store your luggage in the car with the driver.

You could also call local tour companies and ask if they will pick up at a hotel, store luggage and drop off at the airport. Ask for a referral at your hotel, or try Sunseeker, I've read on another board that they do that from the cruise terminal.

We have done a tour before, and won't be doing that again. We didn't stop at anything we wanted to stop at. I never thought of a rental car for the day, that's a good idea!
