LA Amtrak Station

Hello Everyone!,

We are going to be taking the Amtrak from Seattle to LA. I was wondering if you guys might know the best way to get from the LA Amtrak Station to Disneyland, we are stay at Paradise Pier.

Do they have shuttles or car services which would be best cost wise.

Take the Anaheim train (Surfliner..goes up the coast some and to San Diego) many many times during the day. The Anaheim station is a very short cab ride to the hotels and parks..about $10.00. I can tell you from one rough experience that a cab from LA train station is $75.00

I was going to take the train from seattle to Disneyland, but we had to cancel our trip for this year. I agree with the person above, take the train to anaheim. I know from pricing out our trip that you can take the train from Seattle to LA and then transfer to a train to Anaheim, then I'd just take a taxi from there.

My understanding is that if the Coast Starlight runs late (as is often the case) then Amtrak will bus you the rest of the way, although I don't see that spelled out anywhere. The Starlight arrives in LA at 9pm and the last southbound Pacific Surfliner (#796) leaves at 10:10pm, so that doesn't leave much slack. Be sure to book it all the way to Anaheim of course. And as always, YMMV.
