KYSS Bag reviews???

I searched this forum for reviews on the KYSS bag, and the last one is pretty old. I've been told the bags were redesigned. (Not sure if that's true.) Anyone have a bag they purchased in the past two years and can give me a honest review of it?

I purchased a medium sized one for our cruise in September 2015. I love it. Used it as a carry on for the plane, pool bag and beach bag. We also used it at the beach and it seems to be very well constructed. Will be using it against on our next cruise. Hope this helps!

I purchased the Large KYSS bag to use on our cruise June 2015. Absolutely LOVED it! Some people have complained that the large is too large but it was perfect for my family of 3. I was able to put 3 rolled towels, my 1/2" binder with inportant cruise info, sunscreen, sunglasses, money, ear plug and water headband for my daughter, some snacks and about 5 bottles of water and still had some space.

I know some people love them and I thought it would just be a basic beach bag with locking capability but I really thought it looked cheap and ugly.

I've purchased two in the last 2 years -- one for me and one for a friend. We both love them. Both are the medium size, which is plenty big for a couple of towels, sunscreen, phones, kindle/ipad, etc. I think the bags look attractive with the custom embroidery, and the customer service was great. We took our bag to St. Martin, and it was great to be able to swim and walk the beach without worrying about our stuff.

I purchased a bag last year for our April 2015 cruise. Used it in all the ports for that cruise. Very useful, particularly in Cozumel, where we went to Paradise Beach Club. Used it to hold camera, cash, and our cruise cards.

HOWEVER, when I went to use it for our next cruise this year (Feb 2016 - only 10 months after the previous cruise) the zipper was corroded and would not budge at all. It clearly reacted with the salt in the air during the week that we used it. I contacted them to see if the zipper could be replaced and they did not answer. So, I think it's just too expensive for a one time cruise use. The materials are not well suited for the beach air. Would have saved by using the lockers at Paradise Beach Club instead.

I love my KYSS. Bought the large one last year and went through a cruise, Europe, beach, and a great weekend bag. So many uses even took it on a school field trip and it came in very handy to carry small items kids bought in gift shop, childrens sweaters etc....

I bought an "outdoor vault" as I didn't need another beach bag, just something to lock up my valuables while I swam. I run the cable thru my beach bag handles, around my lounge chair, and then tuck the vault back into the beach bag so that it doesn't stand out. I am much more relaxed now while I swim or step away from my "area".

I purchased a medium sized KYSS bag a year ago and used it several times on Castaway Cay - have not used it anywhere else. Love the storage size (would not need anything larger) and helps if I need additional bag for carryon. So far I have found it to be very durable. when I ordered the bag, I did need to contact their customer service and did it via email. They were very responsive.

This was my concern. I've been looking for a good beach bag and this one just looks cheap and poorly made in the photos. I didn't even think to use an LL Bean bag.

I know some people love the Kyss bags but I was surprised at how cheap it looked. I like that you can customize the LL Bean ones, in particular adding long handles and zipper tops. I used a light colored one last year and ended up checking it on my flight home and it got pretty dirty. I've since checked it a few times and now I'm leaning toward buying a dark one for my next trip and using it to check souvenirs on the way home.

I'm going to get the custom large boat and tote so I can pick the colors. I had the large boat and tote before with a zipper and extra long handles and it held everything I needed for a beach day. The only thing I wished it had was interior pockets. You can't do that on the custom but you can get an exterior pocket so I will do that.

I bought a KYSS bag to use at our local amusement park and just returned from the Southern Caribbean & Repo B2B where we used it a lot. I will say this, it is ugly and it does look cheap. However, it has stood up very well and it gave me a lot of peace of mind when we weren't able to be with it. I bought a large and probably could have gotten by with a medium. We were able to put 4 changes of clothes and 4 Disney towels in the interior of the bag (along with some valuables) and then used the outside pockets for sunscreen, bottles of water, etc. I checked the bag on the way home and it went through two flights without incident. I really didn't expect it to. Like most women, I have tons of bags, including those mentioned in the previous posts and love them all. But I will continue to use my KYSS when I don't want to be tied to it.
