Hi, looking to stay here in October, the prices I am on getting Expedia do not include breakfast, dose it normally include breakfast or can you buy once there, any info on breakfast cost, and any general info, if possible compared to Explorers.

Thanks

we stayed there last year ,we had breakfast included so cant help with that,I was impressed with it for a buget hotel we had breakfast outside every morning on a lovley patio ,rooms were clean and comfy you could book park resturants from reception, there is a small disney shop and a bar area and altogether a very pretty little hotel ,we are in the parks from 9-midnight so it served us very well ,enjoy:wizard:

I've booked the Kyriad through Expedia and it listed to the breakfast as included. Unless it states it is included, I would take it that you won't get it. The breakfast is quite decent.

I've stayed here a few times now - it is a wonderful base for the parks and the rooms are clean and great. I have noticed the prices for this start to go up a bit but you can also try hotels.com or active hotels and see what price they give you. I'd have no problem recommending the Kyriad - pm me if you have any particular questions. :wizard:

I booked the Kyriad through http://www.octopustravel.com and it included breakfast and I find they tend to be cheaper.

I liked the hotel, it was cheap, clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast has a good varied selection too.

You can buy the breakfast there I think it was 8 euros when I went.

I haven't stayed at the Explorers butI really like the Kyriad. The big disadvantage would be no pool and no bigger rooms.
Breakfast is good and you can add it on arrival.

Hi again from Italy (and sorry for my bad english!).

I and my wife, during our 11th trip to DLRP, for the first time stayed at Kyriad hotel.

Did we like it? Not so much!

Don’t get me wrong, it is not a bad hotel, but for 100 euro / room / night (without breakfast) it should be better (and it was one of cheaper rate of the year).

Probably I had read lots of good review of this hotel (too good review, in my opinion!), so I was a bit disappointed.

We are used to stay at Holiday Inn, and we think it’s a better hotel (executive rooms are much better!).

The hotel is made by low buldings, so if your room looks at the courtyard you have to leave the curtains closed all the time because of the people always passing by (and we were on the 2nd floor!).

Besides, there is lot of noise, from early morning (why people leave at 7am when the park open at 10am?) until late night (when, after a long day at the park, you are so tired and you look forward to go to bed).

Last (but not least) every time we had a shower we almost covered the floor with water (I don’t know how it happened, we drew the curtains of the tube in every possible way!).

I hope this could be useful for someone (if you have just booked don’t be afraid, it is not a bad hotel, I simply think there are better choices).
