Hi! We will be in DHS on 12/16. It's an EMH evening and we will most likely enter the park around 3:30 pm (we fly in that day).

We have 5:40 pm reservations for Hollywood and Vine. I'm wondering what the lines are typically like for Kylo Ren? I have a Disney Visa, so we could hot-foot it over to the Visa meet and greet before it closes at 4 pm or we could do the standby line anytime including during Jingle BAM or during EMH.

Based on your experience, when do you think we should go?

Thanks!

Yep go straight to the visa meet and greet before ressie... took 5 minutes two weeks ago... normal wait time was 20-30 minutes

We have done the Visa M&G a few times with Darth and Kylo. Every single time we walked in. No wait.

We saw him a few weeks ago. Went straight to Chewy at rope drop and it was only a few min wait. Kylo was about 10 min directly after that.

Last Friday afternoon was less than 10 minutes. Many people were passing by the cast member at the entrance without realizing what it was. My stepson loved it. Unfortunately he agreed to join the dark side. :)

This cracked me up! Where is the M&G, and all you need is your Disney Visa? Can you use your Disney Visa Rewards dollars card to get access?

If I remember correctly, as you are leaving the video game room and heading to the front of Launch Bay there is a hallway off to the left that has a small sign on the wallthat says" Disney Visa member...." there will be a cast member standing at the entrance that will check that you have a Visa card. I'm not sure whether they will accept the rewards card. I showed them my visa card.

Is it any Visa card?

In April, we met both Kylo and Chewbacca with virtually no wait. We went shortly before the SW nighttime show, so most people were either finding a spot for that or were over in the Fantasmic theater - the Launch Bay was nearly empty. You might have a similar experience just before/during the JBJB show, but I haven't been tracking what kind of crowd that show is drawing.

Kylo has always had a shorter wait than Chewbacca when I've been there. Never seen it more than 30 mins. (And even when it says 30 mins, its never actually 30 minutes)

Follow-up question...is there a way to meet Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, or Chewbacca in Disneyworld HS if you are not a Disney visa cardholder? Can't seem to find that info anywhere. If so, what is the locations? Thanks so much!!

Yes, Chewbacca and Kylo Ren are in Star Wars Launch Bay. You can go through the standby-lines without having a Disney Visa. We just met Kylo Ren on 12/17. We missed the Disney Visa time by about 10 minutes, so got in standby and only waited about 10 minutes.

quick question. DD is hitting the parks with her band next month, and we aren't going along (even going to Disney isn't enough to make us suffer through chaperoning teenagers on a long busride).

We are Disney Visa holders, if she has my wife's card, would she be able to show it for the Visa Meet and Greet, or since she is only 16 would they turn her away without an adult?

I think she would be fine. They have disney visas that are debit cards so they could assume thats her debit card. I was an authorized user on a credit card before i was 18, so I don't think they will have a problem.

I wish this had been our experience last Monday the 23rd. Posted wait was 30 and we waited longer than that. We left to attempt Rockin Rollercoaster which my husband gave up on after too many line cutters from tour groups and came back for a quick 5 minute wait for Chewbacca about an hour after seeing Kylo Ren.

FWIW I am convinced the park was slammed that day, but maybe I don't go enough to know better. We saw lines for Rockin rollercoaster at over 2 hours which we were definitely not expecting in late January.

Credit Card at DHS. I've never been asked for my license but maybe if she looks young but can't hurt to try.
