Kungaloosh! When should we go?

I was reading the thread about the Adventurer's Club. I have never experienced this, but I'm planning! I am going on a mom's weekend in August (Sat - Wed).

1) What evening do you recommend to visit the AC? 2) Also, what time do you normally arrive? 3) Does it get very crowded? 4) Can you describe the drink?

Anything else we should know?

We usually hit the first Comedy Warehouse show then scoot right over to the AC. It used to be that Thurs. was CM Night so all of PI, and the AC, was more crowded than usual with CMs getting in free. I heard that CM Night is more than just Thurs. now ,but I'm not sure. We often don't arrive at WDW the first day in time to make it to a park, so we hit PI the first night and 3 or 4 nights after that. Plan on either devoting one whole night to AC or perhaps do several nights, just going at different times. There are several different shows in the Library on a regular schedule so going to AC at different times will get you into different shows. We enjoy skipping a show now and then to remain in the lounge area as the impromptu humor is 'fresher' than the scripted shows. As for the drink, we never had one as we disapprove of alcoholic beverages.

Saturday night will be probably be crowded, but the other nights you are there should be fine. It still is very managable even when fairly crowded.

You really could spend the entire night and not be bored. I recommend getting there by 9:00, just because I think the "Balderdash Cup" (around 9:20) is the best show of the night; that way, you can catch the "new member induction ceremony" first, which helps set the mood and introduce the characters.

The Kungaloosh is a sweeeeeet frozen concoction with rum, blackberry brandy, and strawberry and orange juices (IIRC). Topped with whipped cream! Be careful, they can sneak up on you.

Thank you for the advice. We have dinner adrs every night around 6:00, so maybe we'll just plan to head out from there and get to AC by 8:30. I think my wussy friends will like the Kungaloosh. I'm not all that into sweet drinks. Do you buy tickets to PI and the clubs ahead of time or when you arrive?

Reason Kungaloosh's hit so hard...is they are so good, if like me, you suck them down so fast....then BAM...lol. (I am not a big drinker, so that may help it along too )

But I get one every time I go to AC.
