Just say it last night...it was....okay'ish

Anyone else see it yet?

I was thinking about taking the nieces tomorrow. (I love Jack Black)

Is it at least better than Happy Feet and the surfing Penquin movie?

OMG Yes, better than Happy Feet for sure and Surfs Up. Although I didn't mind Surfs up....

Good to know! Course I thought Happy Feet was about one of the worst CG movies I ever saw. I gave it a zero and that is saying something! I even gave Chicken Little a two.

Guess we'll give Kung Fu Panda a try tomorrow, ole' Angelina said it has a good message, can't wait to be enlightened! :rotfl:

We saw it yesterday. I rank it as ok. The kids loved it. Of course, I was tired and could have taken a nap in the dark, so that probably didn't help.

If I could have given Happy Feet a negative score I would have. I give Kung Fu Panda a 3.5 out of 5. So far Ironman was my fav this summer with a 4.5 / 5 and Narnia a 4/5. Holding out high hopes for Wall-e, but I wish I didn't have to watch anymore wall-e trailers.

It's not Disney, I don't know if I could see this.......:rotfl2:

I saw it last night I thought it was AWESOME!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
cute, funny, got a good messege!!! I thought it was gonna be stupid but it turned out to be really good!

We made it to the first showing on Friday & liked it. Of course DD had to go to the bathroom just as the big fight scene was starting....but we made it back for the end of it...(that's not a spoiler is it?)
I was NOT fond of Happy Feet but haven't seen Surf's Up yet...they rented it, but I was working.

From the few minutes I saw, I was not impressed. It looks boring and over-hyped. However, this shouldn't deter you from seeing the movie as I did not actually see the entire thing.

Worst movie this year? Definitely Narnia: Prince Caspian... I was laughing throughout the entire movie, so much that I almost got kicked out... :)

And that rates at one of my favorites of the year. Proof positive that you (anyone) should check them out for yourselves. Kinda like dining reviews ;-)

We saw it, and we had no desire to do so. It held our attention the entire time, and we rather enjoyed it. Nothing I need to see again, but cute.

DH took DD to see Caspian and really enjoyed it.

Narnia is that funny?!

Thanks Simonkodousek -- I want Tonga Toast now!!

I took my son to see it Friday, and he loved it...and so did I. I know I laughed more than him, and think I was the loudest one in the theatre too actually. I really dug the animation and the characters were great. But mostly, I just thought the humor of the thing was brilliant. I'm surprised more folks here didn't seem to enjoy it as much as I did. And my 4 year old walked out of the theatre doing kung fu, which basically amounted to this funky little crazy dance...that alone was worth going. Hi-larious!
