Although the dialing and waiting was horrible, I have heard nothing but good things about the cast members today. I know I had the absolute best one I have ever talked with. She talked clearly, professionally and verified everthing including the points left in my accounts.

I agree, although my CM was already buggy eyed when I talked to her. Poor things must be working so hard!

I got through 4 times today and each CM was calm and collected and thorough. I could tell my last one at 5:20 pm was tired, but she kept it together and did not lose patience with me.

We had such short notice of this booking that I did not have time to get my DVC house in order, so it was not as smooth as I would have liked on my end.

THANK YOU DVC MEMBER SERVICES FOR AN EXCELLENT JOB!!! :worship:
 
It's great to hear positive news regarding MS. Often we only hear the negative.:thumbsup2

I have to agree 100%, MS was excellent today. The CM I spoke to ("vern"
) was absolutely awesome. He helped us bank points, set up a THV ressie for Oct, add DDP to our May trip and helped to link our Oct ressie with friends who booked the first 2 nights of our THV stay! Bravo is all I can say. :thumbsup2
 
Mine was great too! We had booked a flight for this morning that was taking off at 6:15 AM(PST)(I booked this before they changed the date from March 1st to Feb. 8th). I knew I had at most 15 minutes to get through, make my reservation, and be off the phone before our plane took off or at least the pilot told us to turn off all electrical devices. Someone was watching out for me because I started dialing at 5:58 AM got a "we're closed" message, speed dialed them again (this was all as I was boarding the plane)and got through, waited on hold for about 2 min. and was able to book my room MK view at BLT within about 5 minutes total. I couldn't believe how efficient the CM I had was. I did explain I was short on time and was about to take off on an airplane so she really worked quickly. If I hadn't gotten right through or she had not been so quick, I wouldn't have been able to call for another 3 hours! Thank you MS for being so efficient!
 
I want to add that I was working with 3 different UY's and none of them hung up on me!:rotfl:
 
I agree! It took me 45 minutes to just get in and then 20 more on hold. When I spoke to MS, she was just great. I had forgotten it was the opening reservations for the new places, I was just adding my dining plan reservations. They were just great!
 
Thanks for posting this thread! All too often we only hear the negative. I also had a great CM this morning. She said things were going good - about one hour into the madness. I saw on another thread that there were 200 CM's working today. Yes, things did not go perfectly for everyone, but I think the CM's were doing a great job.

I also have a great story to add. Yesterday, I called within the last 20 minutes of the day (I forgot that ORlando is on Eastern time, and I am on Central). Anyway, I decided yesterday to try and change my Spring Break trip from Vero Beach to WDW. It's only about 5 weeks away, and I was pretty shocked to learn I could get a 1BR at SSR at this late date. She told me there were 4 available there, and none anywhere else for my dates without waitlisting, which I hate to do. I had told her I would stay anywhere available. I told her I would take SSR, so she cancelled Vero Beach. Then she put me on hold to get the conf. number for SSR, and I really thought she had just left since it was after 5:30 pm there. I was just about to hang up, when she came back and said she had been talking with her supervisor because the points tracking system was not taking my ressie. She said I would have to call back early on Sunday to make sure I got my 1Br. I thought,"oh, great, I have to call back when the whole world is calling for BLT and THV!" But, I knew I had to do it in order to get my spring break trip (since we had already cancelled Vero Beach). I set my alarm to get up and start calling by 8am central time. Just as I was getting up, the phone rang, and my husband answered. He said it was the CM telling me I didn't have to call, she had taken care of it. Sure enough, there was my vacation on the member website. I couldn't believe she did that! And to have called me back was just so nice. I really appreciated it, but now I can't remember her name to send an email. Just such a nice touch!
 
Wow, awesome that the cm called you Candace!!! The CM I spoke with was so great!
They were well prepared at 9 on the dot when I got through! The cm I spoke to told me about the preparations that were made to help today go as smoothly as possible!
 
I also had a great experience with MS booking my first trip as a DVC member, we got the room and view we wanted for the exact dates we needed.

Sophie was so sweet and helpful and even took the time to make sure I understood what the cancellation policy was and also answered a couple of my newbie questions. Thanks Sophie you are a fantastic MS CM.
 
Started calling at 9 am. After 1 hour and 3 minutes of dialing was on hold for 25 minutes. Keisha did a great job -- efficient and quick. Booked 3 reservations in less than 15 minutes.

Also, impressed on how quickly the reservations were posted on the member website.
